Just moved to the area and were referred to Steve - lucky us! He took great pains to arrange his schedule so that he could meet with us and learn about our furry family. He has been very dependable and professional and even went out of his way to make an extra visit and check in on our "scardy-dog" who is deathly afraid of thunderstorms when a real whopper came along. What excellent service and what a genuine love for animals and genuine concern for their well being! We feel so comfortable leaving Steve with the "wild kingdom" that roams our house while we are away - thank you, Steve!
We have three verrry spoiled dogs, one of them being a German Shepherd, which are our babies! I found Steve's number in the "Pet Tails" newpaper that Care-a-Lot puts out. My significant other and I went away (together) for the first time in 14 years! Steve was FABULOUS!!! He was reliable, sensitive to the needs of my "pups" and always a text message or telephone call away!! I am spreading the word and suggesting Steve to anyone with pets that you are uneasy about boarding in a kennel. He made everything so simple! He is organized and obviously very experienced with dogs! We could not have been more pleased with the entire experience and will use Steve again, without a doubt!! We very highly recommend him!!
My dog Turk and I think Steve is the best. He's dependable, trustworthy and very caring. Steve recognized that Turk needed more exercise so he not only walks him but gets him to run, too. Turk loves that. I couldn't recommend Steve more highly.
Steve kept our dog for a long weekend get away. I could not have been more pleased. He is very professional and through. He covered all the bases, This included giving her two medications twice a day. Down her throat they went. Steve exercised her and twice took her to a dog park to romp with other dogs under his care. He has integrity. I had no reservation with him having access to our home. Everything was in good order upon our return. Perfect. The BEST thing about Steve is that he loves dogs. It is easy to see and the dogs know. If you give him a chance, he will love your's.
Steve looked after our indoor/outdoor cats for us over the Spring Break, and did a wonderful job. One of our cats is very easy-going, but the other is temperamental and wary of strangers. Steve threw in some extra visits in order to win over our difficult cat and succeeded! We came home to two very relaxed and happy cats and are delighted.
I have used pet sitters in the past, and believe me, Steve is the absolute BEST! My 2 Cairn Terriers just love him, and it is obvious he really loves them back. Steve goes "above and beyond" the call of duty, I never have to worry about the dogs when he's around. Anyone who can put up with Phoebe (aka Miss Baby Jane the Diva)is o.k. in my book.

I have been thrilled with Steve's care of my two ( now three!) dogs. He goes way above and beyond and he obviously really cares about animals. I highly, highly recommend him.
I can’t say enough about Steve and his love of animals. He goes above and beyond in care and compassion. My dog loves and appreciates his friendship as much as he does mine.
